Our container‑based thermal storage works with any heat source: electric heaters, solar thermal, waste heat, or heat pumps. Here are the most common applications.

GREENHOUSE HEATING

Charge at night using off‑peak electricity or waste heat from a CHP/genset.
Release during cold daytime hours to protect crops.
Typical temperature: 30–50°C. BrineCell delivers easily.

INDUSTRIAL PROCESS HEAT (BELOW 80°C)

Pre‑heating wash water for cleaning lines.
Drying, pickling, fermentation, or surface treatment.
Store waste heat from compressors, ovens, or cooling loops – reuse it later.

SPACE HEATING FOR BUILDINGS

Warehouses, workshops, offices, or residential complexes.
Connect BrineCell to underfloor heating or low‑temp radiators.
One 40 ft container can store enough heat for a full day in a medium‑sized building.

OFF‑PEAK ELECTRICITY STORAGE (POWER‑TO‑HEAT)

Charge when electricity prices are negative or very low (e.g., night or high renewables).
Discharge as heat during peak price hours.
A direct, low‑cost alternative to electrochemical batteries.

WASTE HEAT RECOVERY & REUSE

Capture waste heat from diesel gensets, biogas engines, or industrial exhaust (if temperature is ≤150°C, you can store it at 75°C via a heat exchanger).
Store it in BrineCell and use it for pre‑heating or space heating hours later.

SOLAR THERMAL STORAGE

Connect evacuated tube or flat plate collectors.
Store daytime solar heat for evening or morning use.
Perfect for off‑grid or hybrid systems.
